Group Classes
Group classes are great way to introduce guitar & ukulele foundations and build skills in a fun, supportive, and collaborative setting. Our group classes in Bellevue offer engaging, hands-on music experiences that help students of all ages learn, create, and grow.
"I learned technique for using drumsticks. I also learned how to hold my stick and I learned how to do rolls. I learned that we don’t put our pinky on our drumstick." - Astrid, 7th grade

Ukulele is a great place to start making music! This parent-and-child class introduces the ukulele through hands-on exploration, playful songs, and steady repetition. Children and their parents learn to find their way around the fretboard together, keep a beat, and read their first notes. Parents learn how to support practice at home - and learn to play themselves in the process! We'll work on playing songs both as a group and independently, building toward a fun and casual performance for family and friends at the end of the term.

Come play the ukulele! Join us for a 10-week class for active adults 55 and up — no musical experience required, just a love of music. You'll learn to tune your ukulele, read a chord chart, start strumming right away, then build your skills with new chords, ukulele history, and songs chosen by the group. By session's end, you'll be playing and singing along to favorite songs with your classmates.
Classes run in a small group (5–20 students). Bring your ukulele and a binder to keep your music organized. No ukulele at home? No problem — loaners are available for in-class use. Participants should be able to move each arm.
