Group Piano Classes for Kids

The first of our three part Creative Keyboards series, Foundations is designed for young beginners taking their very first steps at the piano. This parent-and-child class introduces the keyboard through hands-on exploration, playful songs, and steady repetition. Children learn to find their way around the keys, keep a beat, and read their first notes, while parents learn how to support practice at home. Support from mom or dad fades naturally over the year as independence grows, building toward a favorite piece performed for family and friends.

Adult participation is required. A minimum of 4 enrolled participants must be enrolled for class to run.

The second of our three part Creative Keyboards series, Progressions is for students who've found their footing at the keyboard and are ready to work more independently, this class has parents in the role of attentive observer while the student works directly with the teacher and classmates. Students expand their reading across the staff, play with both hands together, and start exploring rhythm, scales, and simple chords, all while sharpening their ear for music. Parents leave each week knowing what was covered and how to reinforce it at home, while students build genuine enjoyment sitting down to play and progressing at their own pace.

For students ready to take their keyboard skills to the next level, this class deepens reading, technique, and musicianship in a fully independent classroom setting. Students sight-read new music, play more advanced repertoire with both hands, and build ensemble skills like listening, balance, and following a leader — skills that carry into private lessons, school music programs, or any instrument they pick up next. Students leave with the confidence and foundation to keep going, wherever their musical path takes them.

Join us for a 10-week session all about the piano! In our multi-keyboard studio, students will learn to find their way around the keys, keep a beat, and read their first notes. If your student already has some piano experience, we will work to expand their reading across the staff, play with both hands together, and start exploring rhythm, scales, and simple chords, all while sharpening their ear for music. It's a fun, collaborative way to have fun and make music together!

Option 2: $200.00 | Reduced Price: Families may choose a lower price point if the cost of the class creates a financial barrier
