Student Performances

One of the most important aspects of music education is having the opportunity to perform in front of an audience. Students are provided with motivation and a sense of accomplishment when they perform in front of their friends, family, and peers. These benefits are invaluable when you consider not only the experience they gain, but also the effect on a student's confidence and self-esteem. At Music Works, we give students several opportunities throughout the year to show off what they've learned. Many teachers arrange end-of-semester recitals for their individual studios, and also during the year are able to recommend their students for Music Works Student Showcases, in which specially selected students are invited to perform in a professional venue. These events are always free and open to friends and family to attend.

Community Events

Come and see us while we're out and about in the community! Recently, we've paired with groups like the Bellevue Arts Fair, Xperience Music and Technology Festival, and the Upstream Music Fest and Summit to get the word out about Music Works and the importance of affordable music education. Check back regularly for info about events we'll be at, and come say hi at the booth!

Music Works in Concert

Music Works in Concert series which features professional musicians and encompasses an eclectic mix of musical styles, and the Student Showcase Recital Series features Music Works students selected by their teachers to perform. All of these events are free to attend and open to the public, although we ask that you reserve your tickets ahead of time, which you can do on the individual event pages linked below. This will ensure that we have space available for everyone who would like to attend. Your support of these events is greatly appreciated!

Annual Gala and Benefit Auction

As part of our fundraising efforts, Music Works Northwest hosts a gala and benefit auction every year. This event attracts more than 100 of the area’s top corporate and community leaders for an evening that includes dinner and dancing, as well as performances by Music Works Northwest students and faculty. Attendees are invited to bid during silent and live auctions on items such as tickets to local museums, signed Seahawks merchandise, and so much more!
