MusicWorks NW alum Pat is excited to be joining the teaching staff offering Electric/Acoustic Guitar, Ukulele, Bass, Piano, and Voice lessons. He loved music from a young age and began classical piano lessons at four years old, where he quickly grasped difficult music theory concepts, participated in national piano competitions, and discovered his gift of perfect pitch. Pat is a passionate and dedicated teacher in the Los Angeles area, teaching all ages & genres including pop, rock, R&B, blues, jazz, country, and folk.

Pat is a Washington native who established himself as a diligent and adept student of music at the Overlake School in Redmond, WA. He was selected as the only freshman to join the Overlake School Jazz Band as the guitarist, joined the Chamber Choir by audition in his junior year, and participated in musical theater (playing the lead role in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying his senior year).

Pat attended college at the University of Southern California’s exclusive Popular Music Performance, quickly developing a reputation as a reliable, talented, and versatile guitarist amongst his professors & peers. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2017 and received the “Music Production Most Valuable Collaborator” award at the Thornton School of Music’s Honors Convocation.

Pat currently works as a regular performing/session musician based in Los Angeles, CA, and is a member of the Indie Alternative Rock band MADUS. One of the highlights of his career in LA was performing at the Hollywood Bowl, opening for artists The Jonas Brothers, Billie Eilish, Taylor Swift, and other high-profile acts. He has played at other prestigious venues such as the El Rey Theater, Whiskey-a-Go Go, the Troubadour, the Viper Room, House of Blues, and Stoney’s Rockin’ Country in Las Vegas (among many others).
