Dr. Robert Swan is in his fifth year on the faculty at Music Works. Dr. Swan’s teaching is assured by a gentle yet disciplined approach. He earned his DMA in Piano Performance at the University of Arizona and completed his other studies at The Juilliard School and the Eastman School of Music; teachers include Eugene List, Earl Wild, Mieczyslaw Munz, distinguished Polish pianist Mieczyslaw Munz and the distinguished French pianist Paul Doguereau; many coaching sessions with Byron Janis. Robert has performed as a soloist at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, New York City; Wigmore Hall, London; the White House, as a soloist in major cities, with major orchestras and universities throughout England, Korea, USA and Taiwan.
