Kim Lintott is a CPA and has worked in the health care industry for more than twenty years. Currently she is the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for Good Samaritan Community Healthcare in Puyallup. She lists her areas of strength and interest as finance, accounting, administration, and arts. Kim also plays the clarinet and is a beginning flute student. She writes "Music is a significant part of my life. I believe music education and music appreciation are important elements of everyone's education. Currently, many of our public school systems have been unable to allocate their resources to provide students with enough musical opportunities. If children are not exposed to the wonders of music, often as adults they never take the opportunity to experience the joys of making music. Serving on the board of Music Works provides me with the opportunity to apply my financial skills to expand the musical opportunities available to residents of the Puget Sound." Kim's board experience includes: Treasurer, Pacific NW Cascade Cougar Club (she restores and shows classic Mercury Cougars); and general board member of the Rainier Symphony in Renton/Tukwila. Kim and her husband Randy live in Edgewood. Randy is a professional musician in the Puget Sound area. He plays trumpet with many different groups--both local and national/international, works in the recording studios around Seattle, and writes and arranges music. |
