Larry Foster was on the founding teams of Ingram Micro, Merisel and Egghead Software where he was GMM/Sr. Vice President of Merchandising for six years. He co-founded genSoft Development, a Bellevue Washington developer that was acquired by Computer Associates. He is a Founding Board Member of the WSA and served as Director of Programs for 3 years. Larry holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design from the Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology and has completed executive courses at the Sloan School of Management at MIT. Larry is a trained musician and owned and operated a BMI music publishing company and an independent record label in Los Angeles. Early in his career he was a staff writer for Barbra Streisand's music publishing companies in New York City and has appeared on Merv Griffin and Mike Douglas as a performing artist. His absolute belief in music as a positive influence is demonstrated by his two sons, both of whom perform locally and in national venues. |
