Colt Valenti

Colt Valenti is a Seattle-based composer and guitarist who has trained with some of the finest classical guitarists in the world. Utilizing unconventional tunings, unorthodox techniques and a broad musical background provided by a quarter-century of study, Colt's playing pushes toward a fresh musical target, and the result is a sound that appeals to other musicians and general listeners alike.

Colt participated in a Fulbright-Hayes Fellowship to Italy and was the Champion of the 2005 North West Guitar Competition in Calgary, Canada. Colt earned his degrees-- Master and Bachelor of Music (Summa Cum Laude with Honors)--at The University of Georgia and received a diploma of merit from the prestigious Accademia Chigiana in Siena, Italy. Colt has performed concerts in Canada, Europe and throughout the U.S.
