Kristin ChambersKristin Chambers is a diverse singer, voice instructor and song writer. Kristin began singing and performing on stage at age 9 which eventually lead her to a professional musical theater career in both Seattle and later in New York. Favorite roles in the theater include Maria in West Side Story, Luisa in The Fantastiks, Julie in Carousel, and Marian the Librarian in the Music Man. Kristin’s New York highlights are touring the east coast and the south with Theater Works USA, performing in William Finn’s Infinite Joy at Joe’s Pub- recorded by RCA records, and performing at the coveted Goodspeed Opera House in Connecticut. Kristin performs regularly in Seattle, fronting her own band, and is currently writing and recording her own original album set to release in June 2009. She looks forward to sharing the music with more Seattle audiences in the summer. Kristin delivers her lessons with a warm hearted and positive approach motivating students of all ages and levels to push themselves toward their individualized goals. Kristin's mastery of all aspects of vocal training and performance shines through as she spends time one-on-one with me on my vocals. She seems to have a limitless supply of techniques, tips and tricks to help me sing and hear what I need in order to explore and master all the "colors of my vocal palette" (as she calls it!). Each session with her feels like a completely custom vocal lesson tailored specifically to my strengths and personal goals. I am thrilled with the progress I've made in just a few short weeks! - Tracy Craft, Singer Songwriter Music Works NW is proud to offer individual popular voice lessons with Kristin Chambers.
