Master's degree in Musicology, University of Washington, B.A. phi beta kappa, University of California, Berkeley, Alfred Hertz Fellowship, London, England; teachers include: Craig Sheppard, Stephen Kovasovitch, Ilona Kabos, Gyorgy Sandor, Bernhard Abramowitch; performed as soloist with orchestra, in solo recital and on radio in the US, the United Kingdom, and Germany including concerts with the San Francisco Symphony, The Washington National, the Houston Symphony, Boston Pops, BBC Scottish, BBC Welsh Orchestras, Yomiuri Nippon Symphony, the orchestra of the Aachen Stadttheatre. Debut venues include Carnegie Hall in New York, San Francisco Opera House, Elizabeth Hall in London, Symphony Hall in Boston. Coached in numerous opera productions in both Germany and Italy.
